Season two contestant Frenchie Davis, who in a controversial decision by the executive producers was dumped from the show in 2003 after a lingerie photo shoot surfaced online, took to her Twitter page to vent about Lopez joining the panel.
"Wait. jlo..critiquing singers?!.....hmmm...maybe my fat ass should teach a fitness class." – her unedited post via @FrenchieDavis read.
Lopez, who has released six solo CDs in addition to balancing a career as a film actress, will make her judging debut alongside Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler and original judge Randy Jackson when the Fox reality series returns in January.
Davis, who has starred on Broadway in the musical 'Rent' and played Effie White in a touring production of 'Dreamgirls' since leaving 'American Idol,' was also nominated for a Grammy Award for her work in the touring rival of the Broadway musical, 'Aint Misbehavin'.'

She makes one silly insignificant twitter and that's enough for dumb article on BV?? Did she think Paula Abdul was any better? At least, J-Lo can sing a little. Not a great singer bt better than Abdul.

Agreed. Sometimes these BV folk think every simple though has to be elevated to the level of a conversation. Surprise, it doesn't.
Secretly they want to be TMZ 'but you ain't heard that from me.'

I agree Frenchie is not worth writing about and although J-Lo has made a lot of money SHE CANNOT SING! Beyonce has made a lot of money and SHE CANNOT ACT. Just because you are hot does not mean you are gifted.

You have to admit though, J-lo really is a talentless trollop. Jenny from the Bronx? Give me a break. At least Ellen stepped up and took herself out because she knew she wasn't the one for the job. Weren't there any other has been stuck up diva's that needed the money?

Excuse me Nancy Grace but trollop? How do you figure trollop? Given the choice between Ellen and J-Lo to judge music and or talent, it's J-Lo in a walk.

THE MAJORITY OF THE TALENT ON AMERICAN IDOL IS A JOKE.
AND I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THOSE THAT DON'T MAKE IT TO HOLLYWOOD.
MOST OF THE SINGERS THAT THEY SELECT IN THE FINAL 12 CAN'T SING AND THOSE THAT CAN SING ARE KICKED OFF LIKE JENNIFER HUDSON AND TAMARA GREY.
I THINK J-LO WILL DO A GOOD JOB AS A JUDGE, MAYBE SHE MIGHT KNOW MORE THAN SIMON DID.
KICKING OFF JENNIFER HUDSON AND TAMARA GREY SHOWS THAT SIMON DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT REAL TALENT.

A trollop she is not. J-Lo is very talented. Just not talented to the Nth power like alot of her contemporaries. Bt like Madonna, she works with what she has and has turned herself into a brand name. She knows how to capitalize on what works best for her. She may not be the best actress, singer, dancer, whatever. But she's not afraid to try any of it and that's why she's J-Lo. Oh, yeah, and she's hot!! Paula Abdul was a terrible singer with her weak thin voice that always had to be altered in the studio. Then all the baggage she brought to the show distracted away from the amateur singers with real talent.
