It has not been determined whether the 26-year-old star's overdose was intentional or accidental.
Fantasia's rep has confirmed that she was hospitalized for a "medical overdose."
The High Point, N.C., resident released a statement on behalf of her manager, Brian Dickens, addressing the sex tape and adultery claims yesterday.

"Yesterday, she was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention," he issued in a statement.
"Last night, Fantasia was hospitalized. She took an overdose of aspirin and a sleep aid. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was dehydrated and exhausted at the time. Fantasia is stable now. She will be released from the hospital soon."

The tapes doesn't help her situation but she seems to be attracting or be surrounded by many who have ill intentions. She needs someone who will tell her she's acting like she doesn't have good sense.
Now if this overdose story is true, she has lost her mind so much so as to be willing to leave her child motherless. She's not thinking about what anything she does might affect her child.
This is a sign she needs to move to a new town.

Simply put, 'Sin is Sin.' Let's not water down the situation of what's really going on here. This child needs to repent from her sin and face God head on in prayer. Repentance is turning completely away from something that is not pleasing to God including fornication and adultery. 1 John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

I agree that is pure selfishness, not thinking about her daughter, you can get through anything if she focus on her daughter. Instead her concious got to her. I have no sympathy for her, she knew what she was doing. stop acting desperate for a man.
she has low self esteem because of the way she looks, to be honest she looks nasty.

It’s ok for heath leadger (rip), and it seem like they did almost the same thing, but not fantasia. All I’m saying is if its bad, let everyone who does it be scorn not just the "country black girl"

She wasn't trying to overdose, I hope, because you CAN'T overdose on aspirin. I will make your stomach hurt like a 'mutha', but you can't OD on it. She will need her stomach pumped along with other treatments. I am not sure what 'sleep aid' she took w/ the aspirin though.
She was overwhelmed, I understand that, with all that is going on. Maybe she should just get away, but stay in contact with her attorneys.
Call it me thinking outside the box, but I still think this man and his wife set her up (just my theory)they played on her naivete.
I hope this comes to an end soon, and I hope she learns from this and takes it in stride... I also hope she realizes that she can't help everybody, take a lesson from Hammer, and ditch those people who are doing absolutely nothing to earn money from her.
