Fans of Destiny's Child have been excited over the last few weeks as the Internet was abuzz that a reunion was in the works.
The Grammy-winning group, which last consisted of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, last performed as an ensemble in 2006.
Recent reports claimed that Destiny's Child was quietly preparing a super-reunion that would combine the aforementioned trio with founding members Letoya Luckett and Latavia Roberson.
Luckett and Roberson have not performed
with the group since 1999, when the two were booted from the female quartet after they attempted to fire Mathew Knowles as their manager.Williams and another singer, Farrah Franklin, joined the group as their replacements, however five months later, Franklin was fired from the group after missing concert dates.
Over the last few weeks, Williams and Luckett appeared together onstage with R&B star Tank for the first time ever during an event called RnB Live in Los Angeles.
Shortly thereafter, Luckett and Rowland attended a Hollywood bash for E! Entertainment, which is the first time the two have been seen together since 1999.
Despite tabloid reports that their relationship had become strained (after Rowland fired Mathew Knowles in 2009) Beyoncé recently visited Rowland at a New York City hotel.

Regardless, a rep sent a statement over on behalf of Music World Entertainm
ent denying the reunion."Contrary to rumors online of a Destiny's Child reunion, there are no plans for the group to reunite for a performance or album. The rumors are false Destiny's Child made an unprecedented impact in contemporary music, becoming one of the best-selling groups of all time. Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have each moved on to successful solo careers. The members remain close, but will not reunite as a group," said Knowles, the company CEO.
Destiny's Child released their fifth studio CD, 'Destiny Fulfilled,' in 2004 and embarked on a worldwide tour in 2005 to support it.
In 2006, the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Let's take the best of both worlds and put it on a CD and try to make something we can sell to the consumers. He says he's with it. We're gonna try to make it happen." Thank Goodness! I was worried they would reunite. These girls can't sing to save their souls (with the exception of Kelly Rowland)!

I respect your opinion but I thank u should listen to Letoya Luckett cause she do have a nice voice and can hold a note. Letoya, Kelly and Beyonce are the ones out of the old and new members that can actually sing.

It would be great if these girls re-unite. One of the Best female singing groups in a long, long while. If they were to give a re-union tour, without a doubt, tickets would be sold out probably before they even hit the market. There is no doubt about that. Their magic was in 3's. It would be the first top of the charts female singing group to ever reunite since the supremes. Without a shadow of doubt a re-union tour with these three females would sell millions!

if they couldn't get along with one another as children,we know they would not get along as adults. Especially since some of them have such huge egos now. That would be a big cat fight waiting to happen. And no one wants to see Sasha Fierce with out her weave!!!!!!
