Funny woman Niecy Nash is bringing her soulful and sassy humor to the nationally syndicated news magazine series, 'The Insider.'
Nash joins the show as a celebrity panelist where she'll contribute to the show's new panel discussion of daily current events and celebrity headlines.
"I hope to bring a new perspective to the panel and I believe I'm doing that. As a woman of color, I definitely bring a unique take on the stories we discuss on the show," Nash told BV Buzz.
'The Insider's' executive producer Linda Bell Blue believes Nash is the perfect addition to the existing panelists, which include show host Lara Spencer and correspondents Samantha Harris and Chris Jacobs.
"We are thrilled to welcome Niecy to 'The Insider' team," said Bell Blue. "Her comedic timing and extensive performance background makes her the perfect addition to our 'Insider' panel."
Nash, who starred on Comedy Central's recently canceled 'Reno 911,' will continue to also host her top-rated Style Network series 'Clean House.'

I thought I hated the new format, untill they brought her on! I just love the spice she adds to it. Great idea!

They have absolutely ruined what was a barely-watchable show in the first place.
The forced "arguments" and fake "in your face" discussions the panel has are a joke.
Get rid of everyone else and bring back Lara by herself...we don't need another mindless panel of people bantering...we have enough of that with The View.

Why anyone would watch a show like the insider is beyond me.

I stopped watching"The Insider" because of her. Since she joined the show , her loud never stopping mouth (never lets anyone else talk)drove me away. Why mess with a great show by making it like most of the others. Bad news Insider

I hate the new format of the show, and even emailed them to let them know. Why do they need a panel of hosts when Lara Spencer did a great job? Can't stand Chris Jacobs & Samantha Harris. The show has turned into a yak-fest with them all trying to talk at the same time!

When this show first started with Pat O'brien it was worth watching. Now it is absolutely horrible. I hate the idiotic fashion segment where you can look like Lara Spencer "for less". Lara's voice hurts my ears!! I had to stop watching this show.

I love Niecy! She was sometimes wasted on Reno; hilarious when she was properly utilized!

It is quite possible that Niecy can pull this show out of the dumps. The has been great on Reno 911.
