It looks as though Fantasia Barrino won't be losing her $1.3 million home on Bevington Place in Charlotte, North Carolina.
An attorney for the Broward Energy Partners lending company told 'The Associated Press' that the auction of the season three 'American Idol' winner is off because an agreement has been reached with between both parties.
Charlotte-based attorney Larry Goldman told the 'AP' via e-mail on Saturday that an agreement had been reached, but did not offer any additional details on the matter.
Goldman represents the Florida-based lender that was trying to get the star of Broadway's 'The Color Purple' repay money it loaned her in 2006 for tax payments on the property.
If the agreement between the two parties had not been reached, the 24-year-old singer's home would have been sold at auction on Monday, Jan. 12 by the Mecklenberg County Sheriff's Office.

She wasn't losing her house because she couldn't afford it, someone put a lien on her property for non payment of something else, and they were going to sell the house to get there money, which was only about 100,000 dollars

What is up with people buying homes that they cant afford. You have to either have top selling records for over five years, be on a sitcom that will last for five years, or be under contract with a studio or show for over five years before spending wildly. These people dont get it and it is usualy the black entertainers that are always ending up broke! You cant be flossing, fresh off the bus. Work your way up and build a solid cash flow before buying a 10 billion dollar home
