Though her camp will not substantiate the news, BV Buzz learned exclusively a few weeks ago that neo-soul singer Jill Scott is expecting her first child.
The Philadelphia-bred Grammy winner's baby is by sought-after drummer Lil' John Roberts, who she announced she was engaged to on June 20.

Scott's rep did not confirm the report, but they also did not deny that the singer is with child.

Didn't she just get a divorce last year or somethin? I mean, I would have thought that Jill would takes some time to breath, heal, start making some real good songs, not rush, and WAIT? WOW? Jill is movin and not wastin no time with her young fiance' if it is true? Wasn't her getting engange in June movin too fast too? I noticed after her divorce, her music, and lyrics sounded like REVENGE and jill different attitude. That's my opinion. Not feelin the new Jill or her music right now. She is a good singer. But, if that is what she and her fiance' want than "Congrats"? I guess?

I think that Jill deserves some happiness in her life. She has been through enough and now it's time for her to just sit back, relax and enjoy herself. In regards to the tattoo's, I think that was a personal choice and it's cool if that's what you choose to do. I don't think it's stupid like another person made before me. She must really be in love with this guy. In the event she gets divorced from him, that will just be a token of the love that she had for him.

Jill is happy as can be. Contrary to what was posted above John is not some young buck, he is 36, same age as Jill and he only has one beautiful little girl. He has been waiting to find love and has done so in the very talented Lady Jill. She has not rushed into anything she was apart from Lyzel long befor the divorce became final. I can't wait for her to record her Brown Baby Luliby Album. Now you can do it.

I am without words. Always nothing but deep respect for Jill. Always happy for her if she is happy. However, this new development if true inclusive of the tatoo evidence leaves me speachless. I guess its over. The one I sought after is gone. She certainly has to answer to no one but herself and rightfully so. If she ever reads this. The brotha who sent the chocolate strawberries in Chicago in March and wore the White suit in Chicago in August in the front row. Wishes you well, but knows when he his best was not good enough. does anyone know exactly how many kids lil john roberts has...i've heard of only one,(daughter) but there are rumors floating around that jill' is soon to be "baby momma" number 4..anyways congrats to jill, she deserves happiness like everyone else.
