Who really knows what happen with that relationship. Maybe she knew the type of guy he was, and felt he was not going to be able to handel her success. James and Jennifer were friends for sometime. If marriage was in their plan it would had happen years ago. The man is an engineer and doing well himself. I saw them at an award show last year, and he really looked out of place. When she won an award he just got up walked her to the steps an sat back down. I really feel like he has moved on; just as well if not before. Dating a man for six months is not to fast for marriage. If it work thats fine. If it does't work it is also fine. I just hope and pray what ever happens Jennifer will be just fine. Yes, she has been through alot, but I believe she knows exactly what she is doing and so does David.

Eventhough no one knows why she and her long term boyfriend parted ways, from a public standpoint it seems she dropped him as soon as she got famous.I certainly hope that's not the case.

Dude looks like he was hanging tough with Terry McMillans old rag Johnathan Plummer. Girl, slow down. You may want to rethink this one. Especially since he was all laid up with funky tail New York. Excuse me, vomit is now coming up.

Jennifer, love is where you find it. But please have him sign a prenuptial agreement, because clearly you are the bread winner, and I bet he knows that.

When a man gets big and leave their families it's called understandable. When it happens with a women, she's called getting the big head. WHY? She did stay with her childhood sweetheart a long time after AI and DreamGirls. Who's to say what happened. Maybe he couldn't handle it. The bottom line is, WE DON'T KNOW! WE WERE NOT THERE! Now as far as Mr. Punk, she hasn't married him yet. In Hollywood, things change fast! Chances are they won't get married anyway. And true that about KISSING NEW YORK, she is nasty and he did get down with her, maybe! LIKE I SAID B4, WE DON'T KNOW!

I am a fan Jennifer and really love the work that you've done so far. Please do not throw your future away! I know many who have fell for someone over rebounds, lonliness and fear of being by themselves. With a schedule like yours and many other celebrities, why rush something so affectionate, meaningful, GOD giving, and respected as marriage. Look to GOD for an answer. I don't personally know the guy but I bet you don't know as much as you think you do either. The same goes for him. Less than a year is really not enough time to (not to mention the celebrity schedule) to really get to know a person. Using your own lyrics, "If this is love, real real love", then he will afford you the opportunity of getting to know the relationship better. And if you both care anything about yourselves, you will stop and pay attention to all the failed celebrity and non-celebrity relationships around you and open your eyes to the bigger picture. Marriage is a sanctuary and a committment before GOD and to many people take it FAR TO MUCH for granted. Don't get pressured by todays standards and what everyone else is doing, just to lose GODS trust. Being alone and thanking him for each day of breath that he gives you until you have mentally found the person he has made for you is what his master plan is. Slow down and trust in him. I will not comment as others on the things that he has done to gain his celebrity status because I do not know what you may have done to get yours. Just being a faithful fan and hoping that you don't allow this pressure to ruin what you do have that's pure in you. Advice that I would give to anyone in the same situation, celebrity or not. GOD BLESS!

engaged does not mean married. It may be a loooong engagement, who knows. The man is a lawyer least we forget. And maybe she got to the bottom of the NY mess. He knows that was a baaaaaaaaaaad career move.
Although I don't get it, who am I to rain on her parade? Prenup mandatory though.
