Rocky Romance?: Usher and Wife Tameka Are Reportedly Separated and Expecting

Should someone cue Avant's biggest hit, 'Separated' or maybe even New Edition's song 'Is This The End?'

Well, it depends on you believe!

News broke yesterday in the 'Chicago Sun Times' that singer Usher Raymond IV and his wife, Tameka, are separated and that the former stylist is expecting their second child in December.

Is it true?

My sources say "Yes!"

However, a source close to the Raymond household refuted half of the story yesterday.

"Yes [Tameka] is expecting and very happy," offered my source, before adding: "[She's] not separated."

Who do I believe? Well, I'll let you be the judge for now.

I will point out however that Mrs. Raymond was in New York City on Thursday for the 'Confessions' singer's performance at the NFL season opener.

Some speculate this was a damage control move.

My other source claims this is proof that the two are fine.

Regardless, during a press conference for the NFL performance earlier this week, the 29-year-old singer announced plans for his 'One Night Stand' tour to promote his bleak-selling CD, 'Here I Stand.'

The tour is being billed as a "ladies only" concert and the Atlanta resident told the media during the press conference: "The ladies like to see that masculine build. They question if I still got it."

The time of the tour announcement and the alleged "separation" could lead some to speculate that this is all a marketing ploy. (See Usher's 'Confessions' marketing rollout from 2004.)

Usher's camp isn't responding to the rumors of the separation as of yet, nor are they confirming the pregnancy.

After an on-again, off-again wedding ceremony last year, Usher married the former Ms. Foster in August 2007 and they welcomed their first child, Usher Raymond V in November 2007.
