Sources tell me that CNN is developing a new series for 'King of Comedy' and 'Tom Joyner Morning Show' contributor D.L. Hughley.
I hear that Turner Network brass like Hughley's take on politics and pop culture and have been brainstorming about a show tailored for the Hollywood funnyman.
Stay tuned...

I am delighted to hear that the lovely, and I do mean, lovely, Shaun Robinson has been signed to a new multi-year contract on the Access TV program. She is my favorite reporter. In addition, she is the single reason I tune into the program rather than the show that competes with her show. Access made a wise decision in my opinion.

I'm glad D.L. will get his own show on politics. I love watching him on the Bill Maher show on HBO. Can't wait.

Good for CNN, DL will make a great addition. He has this tendency to say what so many people are talking about amongst themselves.
I resent the question about philanthropy. We don't know what anyone gives unless they instruct their PR person to turn it into a headline. I have much more admiration for those who give quietly than those who give in order to establish a rep.
