"It was the hardest thing and it was a lesson too. It was a lesson in there, that's why I stuck it through. I don't think I had one sick day. And I was doing matinees too! I was doing in excess 10 shows a week, for six months almost every day and we had one dark day a week. There were times, I swear before Jesus, I thought about how I could like hurt myself, in a cool un-invasive way so I could get some rest, hospital rest, and I could just check myself in and just sleep. I was with just a bad group of people. The people who put on the play were not very cool.

Only a star can endure conditions like you endured. It was unfortunate that one of America's greats had to endure those conditions. Next time get your agent to do a better job before committing you.

Chaka needs to get herself into good physical shape. All of that extra weight must be tough. I know...I'm trying to get rid of my access baggage too.

As a fan, I hope that both Chaka, and Aretha lose some weight. It's a shame that someone of Chaka's caliber hasn't had a hit since "I Feel For You." The music industry is a strange business.

Why would anyone treat one of our Soul Divas like she was just starting out in the business. London should be ashamed of their unprofessionalism. Chaka does not have to prove herself to anyone. She has blazed a pathway in music many singers would love to have experienced. Keep you head of Chaka and move on. Keeping singing your heart out and making those hits.

I didn't know that Chaka Khan had done any acting. It takes a real professional to perform everyday under those circumstances. I've enjoyed her music since her Rufus days in the early 70s.
