R&B powerhouse Tamia is gearing up to show her vocal prowess on an upcoming live album.
The Canadian-bred singer, who's married to NBA star Grant Hill, will record her first live concert CD on Aug. 10 in
"I was like, 'I haven't done a live album. Let's do a live album,'" the singer told me when I spoke to her last week.
With the recent success of her independently released fourth CD, 'Between Friends,' Tamia believes that her opting out of the major label system has afforded her the freedom to do things like this.
"When you are independent, you have the option to make these decisions," she offered.
In the meantime, Tamia will continue to perform spot dates nationally to promote her latest single, 'Almost.'

I've always enjoyed Wayne Brady's voice, I think he's a very good singer. Sometimes its hard to tell when he's being serious or goofing off, pretty much what he's known best for. An album from Wayne Brady is definitely good news. For all of you other fans of Mr. Brady you should check out his show "Making It Up", I work with visitlasvegas.com and if I could enter I surely would. This is a great opportunity every fan should take advantage of. Cheers!

I pray to God that what that girl up there said is true, because B5 came up from NOTHING and has more talent than Cassie or Danity Kane ever could have.

B5 should be grateful they are no longer on Bad Boy. If they have made strides with the Disney tween set (read: built-in multi-millionaire dollar fan base), I can only pray they are TRULY out of their contract with Bad Boy when they produce additional albums. Otherwise Diddy will continue to reap the benefits.
