Music producer Stevie J. (real name Steven Jordan) is getting married to Alexandria Martin (affectionately known as Alex), the daughter of 'The View' moderator Whoopi Goldberg.
The couple, who has dated on and off for the last six years, got engaged in December 2007 after he presented her with a diamond engagement ring and matching bracelet.
"I'm to the place right now in my life where I am fully happy with the man I have become. I know none of this would be possible without God first and a beautiful partner like Alex. I am looking forward to planning out a great life for us," said the groom-to-be, before adding: "And she can cook a mean f----g steak!"
Martin, who has been married twice before, is hoping the third time will be the charm.
"I just think that he is such an amazing person! I feel really blessed and I am very, very excited. Can't wait to see what the future holds for us. He makes me feel like a queen," said the mother of three.
Stevie J. got two portraits of Martin tattooed on his arm after she agreed to be his bride.
The pair will have an engagement party on Feb. 23 in Los Angeles.
A one-time Bad Boy Entertainment producer, Stevie J. has produced hits for the Notorious B.I.G., Mariah Carey, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin and SWV.
The Rochester, New York-native was also once signed as a solo artist to Loud Records.
The self-contained talent – he's a singer, songwriter, producer and plays multiple instruments – was previously engaged to rapper Eve.
It was Stevie J. who was also rumored to be the male in the controversial sex tape of Eve that ended up surfacing online.

If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all...I know you all heard that before. Don't try and
be fortune tellers.

Think about it. She's Whoopi's only child. She'll be worth millions...He's no fool. Come on, he's had limited success at best. I wish them well but after she's had 3 husbands, I hope she has a prenup. I suspect she's the only one who doesn't see it coming...

It sad to know that there are people out there who are so life-less that they have to make negative and nasty comments about two people who are choosing to do the right thing and get married instead of continuing to commit fornication. Send me your addresses and I will send each of you 25 cents to go out and buy you some business because you need some of your own.

after six years off/on, yeah, I'd say marriage is the best answer, I pray for both your happiness together, and please give the children something to look forward to, besides y'all will do well with one another. best of times are ahead, love, respect, work, together, but, put God first in all that you do, look up reachout, and love like no one's watching you, and you will make it

keep your hands in the Masters hand and the marriage will take the two of you to levels that money can't buy. When a man find a wife, he have found a good thing, but if you put your trust in GOD, and build the love, respect, hope, honestly caring for one another no matter come what may, stand side by side, and with the LORD on your side how can any marriage fail? God bless your union, and your families
