Music producer Stevie J. (real name Steven Jordan) is getting married to Alexandria Martin (affectionately known as Alex), the daughter of 'The View' moderator Whoopi Goldberg.
The couple, who has dated on and off for the last six years, got engaged in December 2007 after he presented her with a diamond engagement ring and matching bracelet.
"I'm to the place right now in my life where I am fully happy with the man I have become. I know none of this would be possible without God first and a beautiful partner like Alex. I am looking forward to planning out a great life for us," said the groom-to-be, before adding: "And she can cook a mean f----g steak!"
Martin, who has been married twice before, is hoping the third time will be the charm.
"I just think that he is such an amazing person! I feel really blessed and I am very, very excited. Can't wait to see what the future holds for us. He makes me feel like a queen," said the mother of three.
Stevie J. got two portraits of Martin tattooed on his arm after she agreed to be his bride.
The pair will have an engagement party on Feb. 23 in Los Angeles.
A one-time Bad Boy Entertainment producer, Stevie J. has produced hits for the Notorious B.I.G., Mariah Carey, R. Kelly, Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin and SWV.
The Rochester, New York-native was also once signed as a solo artist to Loud Records.
The self-contained talent – he's a singer, songwriter, producer and plays multiple instruments – was previously engaged to rapper Eve.
It was Stevie J. who was also rumored to be the male in the controversial sex tape of Eve that ended up surfacing online.

Y'all are too funny haha.... But yeah, what does she do? She might have to start doing sex tapes cause if he done it once, he'll do it again. This is about to be her 3rd marriage (daayuum) She trying to be the next black Liz Taylor? Anyway, hopefully she's thought about the image he'll have on her children as well. Will he be the "model" step-dad who loves to eat a great "f...king" steak all day!?! I see an unbalanced relationship here. Good Luck to the both of them-----but remember girl, it aint too late to say nooo!

I'll give it six months to one year....AND THAT'S BEING VERY GENEROUS!!!!
I called Solange's marriage not to last and Brandy's also. People really need to do more research before chosing to settle down with someone for, supposedly, life. Maybe she should have talked to his first two wives....

It is truly important to always put God first in your life. That statement Stevie J made about doing this is extremely important in living a successful and blessed life (if he is truly sincere about it). Also, we all must remember that a marriage is 50-50 both parties should contribute equally. Whatever one contributes, the other should do the same. The days are gone when the man must provide everything. If all a woman or man contributes is sex to a relationship then it is by far not an equal one. I believe if a man works, so should a woman and vise-versa. There are woman also that don't contribute to a relationship and are living off the man's paycheck a woman such as this is also a burden and a spounge. Again, sex is not enough.
